Teghan moves to Honolulu today

Email from Pam, who has been Teghan's caretaker while waiting for import paperwork and blood tests pending her trip to Hawaii
Teghan is doing wonderfully. . . what an incredible little dog.  She is gorgeous, and has matured out at a trim 30 pounds.  I just spayed her last week and she is due to fly to Hawaii around January 17th.  We are really going to miss her!!!

Craig and I were in Hawaii last month and it is just a great set-up for her.  Their yard is completely brick fencing front and back, so she can safely be in the yard when they are home with no concerns about other dogs, etc.  They have a salt water pool (no chemicals) and there is a set of steps in the corner that they will teach Teghan to use right away so she knows how to get out of the pool.  Kayako walks Max to and from school every day, so Teghan can go along with them.  They also have a nearby park and the beach is not far away.

Craig is going to take her over from Seattle, and so he will be there a few days to make sure all is going smoothly.  Since he works from home, Teghan is truly "his dog".  Follows him everywhere and is so loyal.  She is a gem with other dogs and is quite social.  She hasn't been around a lot of kids, so is a bit wary around them.  We will have Max, my nephew, be the one to feed her--that will win her heart immediately.  She has never met a food she didn't like.  I can readily see why you put the clause in your contract about keeping them slim.  Good idea.

Most of all, our Gordon Setter, Rylie, is going to be beside herself once Teghan is in Hawaii.  The two of them are fast friends, so we are pretty sure that she is not going to want to be an "only child" again.

Thank you very much for keeping in touch and for the opportunity for such a wonderful dog. . . we are definitely seeing a Toller in our future!

Frodo from December

Nice to get a couple of update pix from Frodo and an email on how he is doing.

Sorry to take so long to send pictures! I finally bought the card reader to take some of the photos off. Here are a couple I just took of Frodo. He is not the easiest dog to take pictures of. I have a lot of his head turned away and the top of his head ... And his back. And his tail zipping out of the frame.  I was trying to get a picture of his cute face for his Xmas ornament. I’ll send you more as soon as I charge my other camera.

Frodo is still the same, beautiful, sweet-tempered boy. He is the happiest, most affectionate dog. I haven’t had a toller before who thinks he is a lap dog. We have had a ton of snow and Frodo absolutely loves it. He had just come in from a good frolic when I snapped these. Frodo and Sam (2 year old Landseer Newfoundland dog) are the absolute best friends. Must try to get some more pics of the two of them together.
