Our Hiatus is Over

I am going to be actively blogging here again, after taking the winter off.

Things are getting underway for planning the upcoming summer litter.  We are excitedly comparing stud dogs and making the final decision about who will be the sire of Bhindi's final litter.

I am also in the throes of writing a cookbook for dogs.  It will be a short, e-book version just to try out the idea and the medium.

Registrations are Here!

Used to be, I was a lot less organized in registering my puppies and the CKC took a lot longer to process them.  I was completely shocked when I went to the mailbox today and saw that the registrations I submitted online last week had arrived.  Never again will I complain about their lack of efficiency again.

Been very active in Rescue Work

This is my current cause.

I am also very active in stray and surrendered dog rescue.  The cause I am working on this month is sending 10 Kuranda beds to Luck Dog Rescue in Meridian Mississippi.  They are a rescue run primarily by ONE person, who has an exhausting daily routine making sure her charges are clean, healthy, fed, walked and get playtime 7 days a week.  Kuranda beds are like hammocks, so they are raised off the floor and comfortably suspended, but also minimize laundry required and dangers of the dogs ingesting bedding.

My goal is to raise $30/day every day in September and raise the necessary $900 to send her 10 beds: 5 large and 5 medium by the beginning of October.  To donate, please click the 'chip in' button here:
